I’m Dr Suman Paul, a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I lead the COPD services. With over a decade of specialist experience in respiratory medicine, I’m passionate about helping patients breathe easier and live better.

I specialize in advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques for respiratory conditions. I perform minimally invasive procedures using the latest technology, including:
- Basic bronchoscopy and Biopsy (Camera test for your lung)
- EBUS (Endobronchial ultrasound) Bronchoscopy
- Pleural fluid drainage
Having performed hundreds of these procedures, I understand not just the technical aspects, but also how to make the experience as comfortable as possible for my patients.

beyond the clinic
I live in Warrington with my family and understand the impact that breathing difficulties can have on daily life. When not caring for patients, I’m passionate about medical education and run a YouTube channel sharing respiratory healthcare information and patient educational content.I also have a youtube channel for finance and investment related videos which is an area I am passionate about.
